Jondavid Klipp, President & Publisher

Laboratory Economics was founded in 2007 by Jondavid Klipp, a nationally recognized expert on the business of laboratory medicine. His research has appeared in numerous business and trade publications including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Washington Post.

Mr. Klipp is the former managing editor of Washington G-2’s Laboratory Industry Report and Diagnostic Testing & Technology Report. During his seven-year employment with G-2, Mr. Klipp authored several landmark research reports, including Lab Industry Strategic Outlook 2005, U.S. Laboratory Reference Testing: Market Profile & Pricing Trends and The Laboratory Market Leaders Report.

Prior to joining G-2, he was an HMO analyst at Corporate Research Group in New Rochelle, New York and a senior writer in the equity research department at Dean Witter in New York City.

Jondavid has a B.S. degree in Economics and Finance from Clemson University.

Kimberly Scott, Editor

Kimberly Scott is Editor of LE’s Compliance & Policy Report and has been a long-time contributor to Laboratory Economics as well.

Kim has more than 30 years’ experience covering laboratory compliance issues and regulations. In addition to Laboratory Economics, her writing and analysis have previously been published in AACC’s Clinical Laboratory News, Dark Report and G2 Intelligence.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Florida Southern College and a Master’s Degree in English from University of Maryland.

Kim enjoys photography, reading, gardening and volunteering with local organizations, including the Epworth Good Samaritan Program and the Rehoboth Beach Public Library.

Harrison Klipp, Data Analyst

Harrison Klipp (aka Harry) is responsible for managing all data files at Laboratory Economics. This includes creating our off-the-shelf databases (CLIA Database, Biopsy Client Database, Hospital Outreach Laboratory Database, etc.) as well as fulfilling custom data requests from clients.

Harry’s work has also been instrumental in creating LE’s market research reports: The U.S. Anatomic Pathology Market Forecast & Trends and The U.S. Clinical Laboratory Industry Forecast & Trends.

Harry has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Geneseo. He is a self-taught piano player and enjoys volleyball, soccer and tennis.

John Browning, Digital Marketing Consultant

John Browning is the Principal of J Browning Studio, LLC, a digital marketing agency specializing in helping businesses of all sizes increase their online presence. He has decades of experience in marketing and advertising, including social media marketing, search engine optimization, and email marketing.

In addition to running his own business, John also works as a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer for several companies across different industries. This experience has allowed him to develop a unique and diverse skill set he brings to his clients.

John and his staff at J Browning Studio maintain the Laboratory Economics website, work closely with the editorial team to develop informative and engaging content optimized for search engines, and provide marketing advice when needed.
